Meet Dr. Mark Walker
Dr. Walker’s greatest satisfaction comes from treating entire families, from grandparents to great grandchildren. He enjoys building personal connections with patients, which allows him to treat his patients’ dental needs with more understanding and compassion. The honesty and trust that those personal relationships are built on allow patients to make good, educated decisions on their own dental health care and treatment. Once a patient has completed a treatment plan, Dr. Walker receives great satisfaction from watching as a patient’s outlook becomes more positive and their smile becomes a little bigger.
Dr. Mark Walker was born and raised in Western New York. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from the University of Buffalo, he graduated cum laude with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from The University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1994. Dr. Walker practiced in New York and Colorado until he decided to settle in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2001 and establish his practice. His wife, Karen, has been a teacher for 13 years, and is now home with their two children, Michael and Elizabeth. Dr. Walker and Karen are very happy to live and raise their family in Albuquerque.
With over 12 years of experience, Dr. Walker makes sure he keeps his practice up-to-date by attending many seminars and conventions to keep abreast of the latest techniques, materials, and research. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the New Mexico Dental Association, and the Albuquerque District Dental Association.
